National reports and Rankings
1. NITI Aayog – Key Reports & Insights (Last 18 months)
- EV Roadmap Report
NITI Aayog’s recent study, Unlocking a USD 200 Billion Opportunity: Electric Vehicles in India, sets a target of 30% EV sales by 2030. It urges for a time-bound national EV policy, including zero-emission vehicle mandates, phasing out ICE vehicles, and establishing a pooled fund for low-interest EV loans. - Data Governance Framework
A report from June 2025 highlights how poor data quality—duplicate or inaccurate beneficiary records—leads to a 4–7% fiscal leak in welfare spending. It proposes strengthening data accuracy and integration to enhance efficiency and public trust. - MSME Sector Report
A recent NITI Aayog–Institute for Competitiveness study reveals a structural skew: medium enterprises, comprising only 0.3% of MSMEs, contribute a significant 40% of exports. The report recommends policies to leverage medium units as growth engines. - PCPIR Execution Gap
A NITI Aayog evaluation flags slow progress in the Visakhapatnam–Kakinada Petroleum, Chemicals, & Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR). Key infrastructure remains incomplete, and investment mobilization lags behind Gujarat’s PCPIR. Updated planning and a new zonal authority have been proposed.)

These reflect significant progress across health, gender equity, and child welfare.
