Volleyball
The Indian men’s volleyball team, currently ranked 73rd, continues their triumphant run in the Asian Games after beating last Asian games Runner up South Korea . The team secured a convincing 3-0 victory (25-22, 25-22, 25-21) against the 2018 bronze medallist, Chinese Taipei, ranked 43rd. Indian Men’s Volleyball team on a roll moves into the quarterfinals where they will face Japan on Sunday (24 September ).
Rowing

In the Rowing, Balraj Panwar, the lone Indian men’s Singles sculls rower, made the nation proud by qualifying for the Final A, scheduled for Monday (25 September ). Panwar secured the third position in Semifinal A/B 2, clocking a time of 7:22.22. Now Panwar will compete for a medal alongside five other rowers. China’s Zhang Liang secured the first position with a time of 7:12.77, followed by Kazakhstan’s Vladislav Yakovlev at 7:19.27.
In other event , the Indian men’s Quadruple sculls team is in the race for a medal after finishing first in the repechage round with an impressive time of 6:09.94.
Table Tennis

Led by legend Sharat Kamal , the Indian table tennis teams showcased their prowess in the preliminary rounds. The men’s team started their campaign with a dominant 3-0 victory over Yemen. Later,in the evening session repeated the same by overpowering Singapore by a score line of 3-1 in their second preliminary round tie.
The women’s team displayed a commendable performance, by defeating in a close tie with a 3-2 victory against Singapore in their opening tie.
Modern Pentathlon

In a historic moment for Indian sports, Mayank Vaibhav Chaphekar, representing the country in Modern Pentathlon, achieved a remarkable 13th position in the men’s individual semifinal B. This feat came after a series of intense events, including the fencing bonus round, swimming, and laser run, accumulating a total of 1005 points.
