Captain Rishabh Pant Failed once again in the 4th match of IPL Season 18 .However LSG managed to hold on MI at 191 in 20 overs t0 win the match by 12 runs.

Mumbai Indians won the toss at Ekana Stadium at Lucknow , home of LSG and LSG to bat. Michael Marsh and A Markram had a good opening partnership of 76 runs in 7 over when Marsh was caught and bowled by Vignesh Puthur . Nicholas Pooran and Captain Rishabh Pant fell cheaply. Pant who has been purchased by LSG with 27 crore , highest ever has failed once again. Markram and Badoni took the score to 158 by 16th over when Badoni got out by scoring 30 off19 balls. With the help of Markram 53 of 38 balls LSG took the score to 203 in 20 0vers with a loss of 8 wickets.
Hardik Pandya did picked of 5 for 36 in four over. Fifer in T-20 in just 4 over is impressive. He is captain of Mumbai Indians and now will have to chase down 203 to register win against LSG.

Mumbai Indians set to chase target of 204 to win started badly in Power play to loose 2 wickets in 3rd over. Naman Dhir and SKY took the score to 86 in 8 over when Naman got out of the bowling of Digvesh Singh. Digvesh bowled 4 over and gave away only 21 runs to take a crucial wicket of Naman. SKY and Tilak took the score to 152 when Surya got out and Captain Hardik joined . Hardik did score quick 28from 16 balls but fail short of target by 12 runs. Lucknow Super Giants eventually won the match by 12 runs and Digvesh was Player of the Match foe his economical bowling of 1/21 in 4 overs
Captain Rishabh Pant register second win for LSG and found itself at 6th rank in League Table. Punjab Kings finds himself at Top position with better run rate. First Five teams are at 4 points each.
