
Courageous Reetika makes her mark at Paris on 10 August 2024 on 15th day . India’s women’s Golf and Wrestler played their heart out. Reetika played like a champion and future is her. For India the Olympic events are over. Indian athlete failed to increase on medal counts from last Olympic but overall Indian improved in most of the disciplines. We were very close to getting medals in many events and we were with many first at Paris 2024.

Reetika Hooda
Women’s Freestyle 76 kg 1/8 – Reetika Hooda played against Bernadett Nagy of Hungry . She was just too good for Hungarian and won by Technical suoeriority by 12-2 and moved in to Quarterfinal.
In quarterfinal Reetika took on world No- 1 Medet Kyzy Aiperi of Kirgistan . Reetika was unlucky as match was decided on who got the last point . Both the player had 1 point each that too for Passivity. Reetika was unlucky that she was awarded passivity point first. Score line was 1-1 after 6 minutes of full time.
