Manu Bhaker missed one shot which costed the medal. Dipika Kumari one bad arrow of 6 Points and she got out in Quarterfinal.

 Men’s Individual Stroke Play- Round 3- Indian Sudarshan is at 34th place wit par score of -2 and Bhullar is  placed at 48th Place with par score of   +2 .

Shooting

Skeet Men’s Qualification Day 2–   AJS Naruka finished at 24th place with total point of 116 and failed to qualify for Final

Skeet Women’s Qualification – At the end of day 1 Raiza Dhillon is placed at 25 rank where as Maheswari Chauhan is at 8th place.

25m Pistol Women’s Final – Manu Bhaker who was second in qualification started well  and continued firing shot was placed at second place tied  . In penultimate shot she missed two shot . One missed could have  given her atleast Bronze but not to be.  She any way written history at Olympic by collecting two medal in one Olympic for India. She will be back in next Olympic.

Deepika Kumari defeated  Michelle Kroppenof Germany   in individual 1/8  elimination round by 6-4 to play in Quarterfinal

In other matchBhajan Kaur lost to  Diananada Choirunisa of Indonesia in  individual 1/8 elimination round by 5-6 Pts . In close match Indonesian proved better .

 Women’s Quarterfinal – Dipika Kumari Played Quarterfinal against Korean Nam Suhyeon . Dipika lost by 4-6. She was at her best but one 6 point shot in the 2nd set and another 7 point in 4th game cost the Semifinal birth.

Sailing

Women’s Dinghy – N Kumanan finished at 20th rank with 20 points . First 10 rank will play for medal.

 Men’s Dinghy – V Sarvanan finished at 13th place with 13 Points after race 6. He also missed th medal race.

Men’s 71 Kg Quarterfinal – The medal hope of country Nishant Dev took on Marco Alonso Alvarez of Mexico in the quarterfinal . He fought well and we all thought he will win but the end result was not in favour and Nishant lost by 1-4.
