
Delhi Capital pulled off his highest successful chase in the IPL. Abhishek Sharma played scintilating knock to take an unreachable target at one stage to a succesful chase.
Monday started with a clash between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Delhi Capitals. DC won the toss and chose to bowl. LSG put to bat and put on 209 from 20 overs. Nicholas Pooran 75 from just 30 balls and Mitchel Marsh 72 off 36 balls, and 19-ball 27 from Miller had a good score on the board to make a match out of it.
Highest Successful Chase by DC
DC had a disastrous start to lose 2 wickets in the first over and 3rd wicket in the second over. DC did have 50 in the 6th over but lost 5 wickets in the 7th over. It was Ashutosh Sharma and Stubbs who steered and kept scoring. It was Vipraj Nigam who had a brilliant cameo of 39 runs in 15 balls. Ashutosh Sharma had a different plan and in spite of losing wickets at the other end, Ashutosh finished the match in 19.3 overs to get a Highest successful Chase for DC in its IPL campaign. Ashutosh was not out on 66 in 31 balls and was declared Player of the Match.
