Hope of millions Indian shattered on Day 6 at Paris. Men’s Double of Reddy and Shetty , PV Sindhu and of course Prannoy all went down in their quest of Medal. Nikhat lost her bout against chinese counterpart. In Hockey we went down by 1-2.
Swapnil Kusale bagged , 3rd Medal from Shooting. First Medal in 50m Rifle 3 Positions. Shooting is living up to expectation and hope of millions.
Lakshay Sen is only hope in Badminton. The way 22 year old has performed till now , we definitely expect from him. Although road from here is very steep but he has performed on similar road in Thomas cup. We wish him good luck.

Men’s First round Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar took the course and at the end of Day Shubhankar is tied at 29th position with par score of -1 where as Gagandeep is at 56th position with Par score of +4.
Archery
Last individual for Indiain Men’s Archery with hope of millions , Pravin Ramesh Jadhav lost to Chinese Kao Wenchao in straight set with 0 -6.
Hockey
In the Group match India played against Belgium the reigning Olympian Champion. Indian Hockey was at its best . India played a good hockey for 60 minutes but Belgium proved better on the day to take the match by 2-1. However both the team has qualified for quarterfinal.
Badminton
Hope of Millions Shattered
1. Men’s Double Quarterfinal – Indian pair of Rankireddy and Shetty were up against Malaysian pair of Chia and Soh. Indian took the first game but however could not play in same tempo in next games and finally lost by 21-13, 14-21, 16-21.
2. All Indian prequarterfinal i.e. round of 16, Lakshya Sen defeated H S Prannoy comfortably with 21-12, 21-6 to play in quarterfinal.
3. Women’s round of 16, PV Sindhu two times Olympic medalist went down fighting to Chinese He Bing Jiao in straight games 19-21, 14-21.
Shooting
Historic Medal
In the final of 50m Rifle 3 Position India’s Swapnil Kusale bagged a Historic third Medal for India . Kusale finished with 451 Points to take the Bronze Medal making it 3 in Shooting as well as for India.
50m Rifle 3 Position Women’s Qualification , Indian shooter Anjum Moudgil finished at 18th position with 584 Points where as Samra Sift Kaur finished at 31st position with 575 points and failed to qualify for final.
Boxing
BoxingNikhat Zareen fought against No 1 Chinese Wu Yu in prequarterfinal and finally lost after fighting well. India’s hope for medal in boxing from Nikhat will wait for 4 more years.
