The third-wicket partnership between Rahmat and Hashmatullah proved pivotal, taking the score to 129 before Rahmat was dismissed after scoring 52 runs. Omarzai joined his captain, and together they achieved the target to secure their fourth win in the ICC World Cup 2023.
Afghanistan displayed outstanding performance in all aspects of the game, excelling in fielding, bowling, and batting to defy expectations.
