The formidable team of Palak Gulia, Esha Singh, and Divya clinched the Silver medal in the 10m Air Pistol shooting team competition.
In a record breaking win by Palak Gulia in 10m Air Pistol shooting individual event, with Asian Games record and won Gold for the country and Esha Singh achieved a well-deserved Silver.

In the realm of Lawn Tennis, the Men’s Doubles event witnessed a hard-fought battle as the duo of Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan displayed their prowess, ultimately securing the Silver medal. Despite a valiant effort, they succumbed to the skilled pair from Chinese Taipei in the Final, losing in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-4. In the Mixed Doubles, the dynamic pair of Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale triumphed, advanced in the final for quest of Gold by defeating the Chinese Taipei duo in a gripping match that concluded with a thrilling tiebreaker of 6-1, 4-6, and 10-4.
In the boxing arena, Nikhat Zareen showcased her exceptional talent by finishing her bout in an impressive 53 seconds, securing a spot in the Olympics and advancing to the Semifinals. Praveen Hooda, competing in the 57 kg weight category, displayed her skill and determination by defeating a Chinese boxer through a unanimous decision, advancing herself into the quarterfinals.
In the realm of Squash, the Indian Women’s Team displayed immense talent and determination, earning a Bronze Medal despite a tough match against Hong Kong. On the men’s side, Team India emerged victorious against Malaysia, securing a place in the Final and setting the stage for a thrilling showdown against Pakistan. This is an opportunity for India to seek redemption for their earlier loss to Pakistan in the pool match.
The Badminton event saw the Indian women’s team face a tough challenge, ultimately losing to Thailand in the quarterfinals. On a brighter note, the Men’s team, represented by K Srikanth and Lakshya Sen, showcased exceptional skills and determination, secured at least a medal .

The Athletics events kicked off with a Record breaking win for bronze after 70 years for India. Indian Women Shotputter Kiran Baliyan made her mark by clinching the Bronze with a powerful throw of 17.36m, her second-best throw ever. Manpreet Kaur showcased her prowess, finishing 5th with a commendable throw of 16.24m in the same event. In the 20 km Walk, India’s Vikash Singh and Priyanka Goswami displayed impressive performances, finishing at the 5th position in their respective events. The Women’s Hammer throw saw Tanya Chaudhary secure the 7th position with a formidable throw of 60.50m, while Rachna Kumari finished 9th with a throw of 38.13m. In the 400m event, Aishwarya Mishra and Muhammad Ajmal showcased their mettle, securing qualification for the final and setting the stage for a thrilling showdown.
