Rohit contributed 61, while Virat and Shreyesh added 71 more before Kohli fell at 51. K L Rahul joined S Iyer at 200 for 3, and together they crafted a remarkable partnership of 208 runs. Rahul’s quickfire 102, the fastest century in the World Cup by an Indian, and Iyer’s unbeaten 128 propelled India to a commanding total of 410/4.
Netherlands Chases a Daunting Target
Netherlands faced an uphill battle, needing 411 to win. Indian bowlers immediately made their presence felt. Opener Barresi fell to Rahul off Siraj’s bowling. Ackerman and M O Dowd added 61 before Kuldeep dismissed Ackerman, and Jadeja bowled out Dowd. Kohli, surprisingly with the ball, claimed Edwards’ wicket. Despite Nidamanuru’s half-century, Netherlands continued to lose wickets. Nidamanuru was the last to depart at 250 in 47.5 overs.
Indian Bowlers Shine
Indian bowlers once again showcased their prowess, with Bumrah, Siraj, Jadeja, and Kuldeep claiming two wickets each. Notably, Kohli and Rohit contributed with a wicket each. The Netherlands was bowled out for 250 in 47.5 overs, and India secured a convincing victory by 160 runs.

Shreyas Iyer’s exceptional innings earned him the Player of the Match title for his unbeaten 128. With this comprehensive win, India concluded the Round Robin stage in style, entering the knockout phase with confidence.
