
Delhi Capitals on fire:KL Rahul’s Heroic lead to Fourth straight win in IPL 2025
Delhi Capitals won the toss and put RCB to bat. P Salt and V Kohli were in destroying mode and scored 61 runs in 4 over. It was Phil Salt who scored 37 from 17 balls with 3 sixes and 4 fours when he run out Vipraj Nigam. Once Phil gone RCB panicked and with good bowling from DC 125 for 7 in 18th over.
It was David who scored 37 from 20 balls with 4 Sixes and 2 fours to take RCB cross 150 and then 160 also. RCB should be happy with the total to reach 163 in 20 overs. Kuldeep and Vipraj Nigam bowled exceedingly well with a figure 2/17 and 2/18 in four overs. It was last over in which DC gave away 19 runs and that’s how DC will have to chase atleast 15 extra run.
Delhi Capitals had disastrous start against RCB pacer of Bhubneswar and Yash Dayal. DC lost 3 wickets in power play with the likes of Fafa, Fraser and Porel. DC could manage only 39 runs in the Power play. Axar added 15 runs with Rahul but was caught by David off Suyash Sharma. DC were 58/4 in 9th over. Needed 106 run from 11 overs at an average of approx. 11 run per over. Tristan Stubbs joined KL Rahul and both ensured that there is no further fall of wickets.

KL Rahul Dominated
15th over was bowled by Hazelwood and KL Rahul took advantage of fast bowler in Chinnaswamy . There was slight drizzle and par score at this time was 107 and DC was on 99 runs 8 runs behind. KL Rahul with cricketing brain on the crease decided to start accelerating. He scored 4,4,2,2,4,6 runs . KL picked up 22 runs Now the equation was 43 runs from 30 balls. Next over from Suyash was taken by Stubbs and he scored 12 runs .
So at the break after 16 over equation was very much in favor of DC needing 30 runs from 24 balls with Rahul and stubbs with 76 runs unbeaten partnership. 12 runs from 17th over and now it was needed 18 runs from 24 balls. Next 5 balls in 18th over both scored 23 runs to maintained the record of unbeaten in this IPL Season. 111 runs unbeaten partnership between KL Rahul and Stubbs ensured that DC won by 6 wickets with 13 balls to spare.
KL Raul with 93 not out from 53 balls played a watch winning knock and was declared Player of the Match.
