Modi Highlights Need for Innovative Solutions in the 21st Century and India’s ‘Sabka Sath’ Philosophy

Prior to the commencement of the G20 Summit proceedings, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his condolences to those affected by the recent earthquake in Morocco. He expressed deep sympathy, saying, “I extend my heartfelt condolences for the tragic loss of lives resulting from the recent earthquake in Morocco. Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured, and we stand ready to extend any possible assistance to Morocco during this challenging period.”

As he welcomed global leaders to the multilateral summit, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the significance of the 21st century as a pivotal moment to finalise a new course for the world. He affirmed that the age-old challenges now require innovative solutions, he urged everyone to shoulder their responsibilities with a people-centric approach. He imphasised , “The concept of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas, sabka prayas’ can serve as a guiding principle for the world. Whether addressing the North-South divide, bridging the East-West gap, managing issues related to food, fuel, terrorism, cyber security, health, energy, or water security, we must find enduring solutions for the benefit of future generations.”

Highlighting India’s G20 Presidency, Prime Minister Modi underscored its embodiment of the “Sabka Sath” (Together with All) philosophy, which resonates both domestically and internationally. He pointed out that this approach had transformed the G20 into a people’s platform within India, with more than 200 meetings held across the states and the participation of millions of people.
