“On the fifth day of the Asian Games, Wushu ace Naorem Roshibina Devi showcased her mettle, securing a well-deserved Silver medal. She battled fiercely against China’s Wu Xiaowei for the Gold, a remarkable upgrade from her previous Bronze in the Asian Games, dedicating this achievement to the people of Manipur.”

“Switching to Shooting, the Men’s 10m Air Pistol team—comprising Sarbjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema, and Shiva Narwal—clinched a magnificent Gold Medal with an impressive combined score of 1734. Although Sarbjot Singh and Arjun Singh Cheema displayed a strong performance, they settled at 4th and 8th positions, respectively, in the Individual Event.”

“In Equestrian, Anush Agarwalla achieved a historic milestone, securing Bronze in the Dressage Intermediate I Freestyle Event mounted on Etro, scoring an impressive 73.030 percent. This marks the first individual dressage medal in the history of the Asian Games.”

“In Table Tennis, the team of G. Sathiyan and Manika Batra displayed incredible valor but narrowly succumbed to Singapore, losing 3-2. On the bright side, Manika Batra advanced in the Singles category, while Sree Akula faced defeat against the Democratic Republic of Korea.”
