
Super Sunday Shocker for SRH and CSK in the IPL 2025. Sun Risers Hyderabad, who are banking on their hard-hitting batsmen, were bowled out in 18.4 overs, and in the second match, once again, Chennai Super Kings failed to chase the target.
First Match of Super Sunday
In the First Super Sunday match, the Sun Risers Hyderabad met the Delhi Capitals at Vishakhapatnam. SRH won the toss and decided to set the target. The top order failed once again, this time they failed drastically. SRH lost 4 wickets in 4.1 overs with 37 on the board. Aniket Verma and Henri Klassen steadied and took the score to 114 in the 11th over when Klassen went down. Aniket scored a brilliant 74 from 41 balls. T head did manage 22 of 12 balls, and all other batsmen were in single digits only. SRH were bowled out in 18.4 overs for 163 runs. Mitchell Starc picked up 5 wickets, and Kuldeep picked up 3 wickets.

Delhi Capitals were on the go from the first ball, and their opener scored 81 in 9 overs when Faf du Plessis was caught and bowled by Zeeshan Ali. Fraser added 38 of 32 balls, and Porel added 34 from 18 balls. Delhi Capitals reached the given target comfortably in 16 overs with a loss of 3 wickets. All wickets taken by Zeeshan Ansari. DC won its second consecutive match by 7 wickets and placed second in the league table.
Mitchell Starc was declared Player of the Match for his bowling figure of 5 for 35 in 3.4 overs. Axar Patel was brilliant as the Captain on the field.

Second Match of Super Sunday
In the Second match of Super Sunday Rajasthan Royals took on Chennai Super Kings at Guwahati. Once again CSK won the toss and decided to chase the target. RR started the innings and lost Y Jaisawal in the first over , Here after RR was not looking back and with 81 from 36 balls Nitish Rana was in sublime form. Other batter chipped in with good strike rate to set a target of 182 after loosing 9 wickets. Riyan played a captains knock to get 37 from 28 ball. Noor, Khaleel and Pathirana picked up 2 wickets each but could not restrict RR to score at 9 runs of runrate.

CSK started its chase and lost Rachin in first over , Powerplay was again was under par. Onle hope was from captain R Gaikwad who scored 63 from 44 balls but got out at crucial time . R Jadeja put his best to score 32 from 22 balls. Dhoni did score 16 balls in 11 balls and he also caught on boundary with brilliant catch in 20th over. CSK needed 20 runs in last over but could manage only 13 runs to loose by 6 runs.
Rajasthan Royals won by 6 runs and Nitish Rana was declared Player of the match for his brilliant 81 from 36 ball.
