Netherlands’ Uphill Battle
Chasing 340 runs at a rate of 6.8 per over, the Netherlands lost two wickets within six overs. However, early wickets fell in the power play, leaving Netherland at 13/2.They managed a 55-run partnership for the third wicket before Barresi fell at 37. Despite decent starts from Scott, Teja, and Engelbrecht, no batsman tried to stay and build the inning. England’s bowlers, particularly spinners Moeen and Rashid (3 wickets each) and Willy (2 wickets), made sure there were no hiccups. The Netherlands was bowled out for 179 in 37.2 overs.
