2. Centre of Excellence on Human-Wildlife Conflict Inaugurated:Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav inaugurated the Centre of Excellence on Human-Wildlife Conflict at the Wildlife Institute of India–SACON Campus, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu).

3. Indian Railways Approves ₹381 Crore Safety Projects: Railways approved two projects worth ₹381 crore:

4. High-Alcohol Medicines Under Strict Licensing: The Centre made licences mandatory for medicinal formulations containing high alcohol content.
