1. India Crosses 300 GW Non-Fossil Fuel Capacity:  India crossed 300.50 GW of installed non-fossil fuel electricity capacity. Non-fossil sources now account for over 46% of total installed electricity capacity.

• Supports India’s 500 GW non-fossil capacity target by 2030 under its Panchamrit commitments.

2. Supreme Court Issues Gender-Sensitive Guidelines: The Supreme Court directed courts to avoid patriarchal, stereotypical and moralistic language in judgments concerning women and sexual offences.Courts were asked to adopt the SOGIESC framework — Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Expression and Sex Characteristics.

3. 22 New Entry Ports for E-Visa Holders: The Ministry of Home Affairs notified 22 additional entry points for foreign nationals holding e-Visas. These include 11 seaports, 9 land ports and 2 airports, taking the total authorised e-Visa entry points to 88.

4. PMAY-Urban Crosses Major Housing Milestone: Over 1.25 crore houses have been sanctioned under PMAY-Urban and PMAY-U 2.0. More than 1 crore houses have been completed and handed over, with around 1 crore houses allotted to women.
