India’s First Medal of Olympic 2024 : Manu Bhaker Ends 12 Year Draught in Shooting

India’s first medal of the Olympic 2024 has been won by Indian Women Shooter Manu Bhaker. She became First Indian Women Shooter to win a medal in Olympics. India could get a Medal in shooting after 12 Years.  Manu kept her calm and composure and achieved the result. Here are results of the day two where India could manage few wins and heartbreak as well. Women Team of Archery could not advance beyond Quarterfinal and lost to Netherland. It was not day for DIpika Kumari and team. Nikhat took on Germany’s Maxi and played an excellent bout to win unanimously and face No 1 from China in next round. Manu Bhaker makes history by winning Bronze medal in Women’s 10m Air Pistol. She becomes India’s First women to achieve it. It also opened account for India in Paris 2024.

Women’s team Quarterfinal against Netherland and Team again choked at the right time . India were badly beaten by  score line 6-0 in favor of Netherland.
