The Paris Summer Olympic 2024 is starting from 26 Jul in France, Europe. The Ancient Olympic Games held in Greece from 776 BC to 393 AD. The Modern Olympic games initially started in 1896 by Pierre de Coubertin with just 9 sports with 43 events. The Paris Olympic will feature a total of 32 Sports with 329 events in total. The IOC has decided to include two new sports where as three sports has been excluded. Breaking and Kayak cross will be two additional sports where as Surfing and skateboarding return for their second games along with Climbing and 3×3 basketball. Baseball , Softball and Karate is excluded.
Olympic Games is symbolized by by the 5 Olympic Rings representing 5 Continents. with its Motto- “Citius, Altius, Fortius ” ( Faster, Higher, Stronger ) . Olympic values are Friendship, Respect, and Excellence.
The Paris Summer Olympic is 33rd edition of the event and it is officially from 26 July to 11 August 2024. Although few Games will begin from 25 July 2024. The 206 National Olympic team is participate with approximately 10500 athlete. 54 from Africa, 48 from Europe, 44 from Asia , 41 from America and 17 from Oceania. It also include Individual Neutral Athletes and the Refugee Olympic team.
India will be participating in16 sports . A total of 117 athletes to include 70 ales and 47 Females will be vying for honours .

Host City – Paris , France will be host city, with events held at 16 other cities spread across Metropolitan France. One subsite in Tahiti, French Polynesia.
Mascots– Olympic Phryge, Inspired by Phrygian Caps which are symbol of freedom and were popularised by French revolutionaries. The Mascots are donned in Red, White and Blue colors of French Flag. The Mission of mascots is to inspire France to get moving and to promote the values of sport.
