
In an exhilarating day of sports, India achieved a historic milestone, ISS BAR 100 PAR as Indian Women Kabaddi Team secured Gold Medal at the Asian Games.
The day kicked off with Aditi Swamy clinching a Bronze medal in the women’s individual Compound event in Archery , setting the tone for India’s success. In the Final , Jyothi Surekha displayed remarkable prowess in the women’s individual compound, securing her third gold medal by defeating Korean Chaewon So with a score of 149-145. In the Men’s individual Compound, an all-India final unfolded, with Ojas Deotale emerging victorious against his mentor Abhishek with a score of 149-147, bagging his third Gold of the Games.

In Badminton, the world No. 3 men’s doubles pair, Satwiksairaj Ranki Reddy and Chirag Shetty, showcased their prowess by winning the Gold medal match against Choi Solgyu and Kim Wonho of the Republic of Korea with a score of 21-18, 21-16.
In the women’s Kabaddi final against Chinese Taipei, India faced a formidable opponent. Chinese Taipei, a team that had previously tied with India in the pool match and defeated last Games’ champion Iran in the semifinal, posed a tough challenge. The match was closely contested, and in the final moments, India displayed nerves of steel to secure victory with a score of 26-25. This victory marked India’s 100th medal and the 25th gold medal for the nation. So Mission accompalished of ISS BAR 100 PAR

The Indian men’s cricket team made an impressive debut at the Asian Games 2023, clinching the Gold medal. Despite a rain-interrupted match, India emerged victorious against Afghanistan with a higher seeding.Afghanistan had scored 112/5 in 18.2 overs when match was interrupted due to rain.
In kabaddi, the Indian men’s team triumphed over IR Iran in a closely contested Gold medal match, winning 33-29 and securing their 8th gold in nine outings at the Asian Games.

However, in the men’s freestyle 86kg wrestling final, Indian grappler Deepak Punia secured a silver medal, losing to IR Iran’s Hassan Yazdani. Adding to India’s medal tally, the women’s hockey team clinched a Bronze medal by defeating Japan 2-1.

In Chess, both the Indian men’s and women’s teams displayed their strategic prowess and secured silver medals at the Asian Games 2023. The Indian women’s silver medal-winning team featured Vantika Agrawal, Savitha Shri Baskar, Harika Dronavalli, Koneru Humpy and Vaishali Ramesh Babu.The Men Chess Indian team consisted of Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, Vidit Santosh Gujarathi, Arjun Kumar Erigaisi, Hari Krishna Pentala and Gukesh Dommanraju secured Silver for the Country.
With these remarkable achievements, India now stands proudly as the 4th nation in the overall medal table, trailing behind China, Japan, and South Korea. Indian athletes have excelled across various events, showcasing their mettle and collecting medals, making the 14 days of the Asian Games 2023 an eventful and memorable journey. ISS BAR 100 PAR and India finally raised bar to 107 medal.
