
Kaziranga National Park, situated in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam, India, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This remarkable park, nestled in the heart of Assam, remains one of the few untouched areas in eastern India, free from human intervention. It is home to the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses and boasts a diverse array of wildlife, including tigers, elephants, panthers, bears, and numerous bird species. Kaziranga National Park stands as a pristine natural sanctuary in the northeastern region of India, encompassing 42,996 hectares and serving as the largest undisturbed and representative expanse in the Brahmaputra Valley floodplain.
