Job Details:
- Number of Vacancies: Approximately 225(Navik GD) + 30 (Navik Domestic Branch)

Eligibility:
- Age: 18-22 years on 1st April of the year of recruitment
- Relaxation:
- 5 years for CG Uniformed personnel/SC/ST
- 3 years for OBC
- Education:
- Navik General Duty: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics
- Navik Domestic Branch: High School Pass from any recognized board
- Medical Standards:
- Height: Minimum 157 cm
- Weight: As per table with 10% variation
- Chest expansion: 5 cm
- Hearing: Normal
- Eyesight:
- 6/6 or 6/24 uncorrected without glasses
- 6/9 or 6/12 corrected with glasses
- No permanent tattoos
Selection Process:
Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Subjects:
- Navik Domestic Branch: Maths (20), English (15), Science (10), Reasoning (10), GK (5)
- Navik General Duty: Maths (20), English (15), Science (10), Reasoning (10), GK (5), Maths Technical (25), Physics (25)
- Time: 45 minutes for Domestic Branch, 75 minutes for General Duty
- No negative marking
Stage 2: Assessment and Adaptability Test
- Only biometric verified candidates who qualify the CBT will proceed.
- OMR based test.
- Results announced within an hour.
Stage 3: Physical Fitness Test
- 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
- 20 squats.
- 10 push-ups.
Stage 4: Document Verification and Final Medical Examination
- Conducted at INS Chilka.
Stage 5: Training
- Successful candidates undergo training at INS Chilka.
Important Information:
- Admit cards are issued online.
- Online examinations are held at computer centers.
- No negative marking for the CBT.
