Punjab Kings overpowered LSG with thier clinical performance in the 13th match of the IPL 2025. Prabhsimran scored 69 from 34 balls to steer PBKS to thier second win.
PBKS won the toss and decided to bowl. LSG put in to bat lost 3 quick wickets were 35 for 3 in 5th over. Nicholas Pooran and Badoni steered the inning took the Super Giants to 89 when Pooran was caught off the bowling of Y Chahal. Badoni , Miller and Samad added runs to take the LSG score to 171 with loss of 7 wickets. Arshdeep picked 2 wickets in the final over to claim 3 wicket. Other Punjab bowler picked up 1 each wicket.
Punjab Kings after restricting LSG to 171 lost P Arya in the 3rd over and Captain joined Prabhsimran and maintained 11 runs per over to take the score to 110 when Prabhsimran was caught by Bishnoi off the bowling of Digvesh Singh. N Wadhera joined Captain Iyer and he scored 43 from 25 balls to surpass the score of 171 to win the match for PBKS by 8 wickets. S Iyer played a Captain knock of 52 off 30 ball to reach second spot in the run of Orange cap.
Prabhsimran was declared Player of the Match for his 69 off 34 balls. PBKS with thier second consecutive win is placed at second spot in the IPL Table .
