RCB seals victory in last 2 overs of the match. J Hazlewood picked up 4 wickets to register RCB’s first win at home.

RCB played SRH at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Kohli and Salt started the innings and scored 61 in 7 overs when P Salt was sent back to the dugout. Kohli and Padikkal added 95 runs in the next 9 overs. Captain Patidar got cheaply at 01 run. Tim David joined Kohli and scored 52 runs together. Jitesh scored 4 balls, 10 runs. Kohli was not out with his brilliant knock of 70 runs in 42 balls. Virat Kohli is in his top form and very consistent in scoring. Sandeep Sharma picked up 2 wickets.

First Home win for RCB

Rajasthan Royals started the chase with the two youngest openers. Yashaswi kept hitting and scored 52 in 4.2 runs when young Vaibhav got out, scoring 16 from 12 balls. Yashaswi scored 19 balls, 49, and got out by Hazlewood. Nitish is playing well but got out at 22. Riyan Parag made 10 balls 22, and RR was very much in the game chasing 205. Jurel made 47 from 28. RR needed 18 runs from 2 overs. In 19 overs bowled by Hazlewood, he picked up 2 wickets in two consecutive balls and gave just 1 run. 17 from the last over, and Dayal picked up 2 and gave only 5 runs. RR failed by 11 runs short of winning.

RCB won the match by 11 runs to register their first home win. Chinnaswamy stadium was haunting RCB in this season, and today also it seemed as if they were on the verge of losing when Hazlewood pulled off in the penultimate over. J Hazlewood picked up 4 wickets to get Player of the match.
