
SRH crushes KKR by 110 Runs in last outing of the season 18 of IPL. H Klassen scored unbeaten 105to take Sunrisers tothird highest total in IPL to278.

SRH won the toss and decided to bat. Opening pair of Abhishek and Head added 92 from 7 overs when abhishek was caught by Rinku Singh off the bowling of Sunil N. Klassen came to bat at No 3 and with Travis Head both added 83 runs when Head was caught by Russel off the bowling of Sunil N . Ishan Kishan joined Klassen. Klassen was in his prime form today and scored the third fastest century of IPL from 37 balls with 9 sixes and 7 fours. Sunrisers scored the third-highest total in IPL history with 278 runs on board.
KKR had a tough task to reach the target by scoring 14 runs per over. The opening pair of Sunil and De Kock added 37 runs by the 4th over, but total playing on mind and brilliant bowling by Sunrisers did not let KKR settle down. So, KKR kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Malinga, Harsh, and Unadkat picked up 3 wickets each to restrict KKR to 168 with 8 balls to be bowled. SRH won its third consecutive match and it was by a huge margin of 110 runs.
Heinrich Klassen was declared Player of the Match for his unbeaten 105 from 39 balls.

So, two matches left to decide the top 2 teams of this season, who will have the advantage of losing a match and be in the race to reach the final. It’s open for all the teams in the top 4, but will be decided by MI, RCB, PBKS, and LSG. LSG is the only team that is not in the top 4, but it will be able to decide who is in the top 4 of the table. SRH with todays win are placed at 6th place where as CSK’s win first match of the day ensured that GT’s position will be decided by the other teams’ results.
