Narendra Modi stadium , Ahmedabad witnessed battle between Titans and Kings. Shreyash Iyer, Captaining Punjab King led from front scored 97 not out to set a target of 243/5 in 20 overs,
Put to bat Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya scored 47 from 23 balls. having lost P Singh early at the score of 28 Captain S Iyer joined and added 51 run when Prashant got out in 7th over. Omarzai added 16 from 15 ball and gave wicket to Sai Kishore in next ball Sai made Maxwell back in pavillion at 105/4 . Stoinis and Iyer added 57 runs when Stoinis was bowled by Sai , his third wicket. From here Iyer with Shashank added 81 runs in 4.4 over, Shashank played 16 ball 44 to take the Pujab King’s score to 243/5. S Iyer scored 97 notout in 42 ball.
Battle between Titans and Kings
Titan while chsing a score of 243 had a good start from opener Sudarshan and Gill. Both added 61 run in 6over when Captain Gill was caught off Maxwell. Butler and Sudarshan added 84 run whenSudarshan got out in 13 over. Rutherford joined Butler and both added 54 runs in 5 over when Butler was dismissed . Titan needed 44 runs from 2 over which was difficult and with good bowling and fielding they fell 11 runs short, At the end battle between Titans and Kings was won by Punjab King by 11 runs to start the 2025 compaign.
Sai Kishore picked up 3 wicket from Titans where as S Iyer scored 97 not out to be declared Player of the match for his brilliant performance, a selfless innings.
