Gujrat Titan restricts MI at 160 to register thier First win of the season at Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad by 36 runs. Mumbai Indians as usual on slow start and still in warming up stage.
Mumbai Indians captain won the toss and decided to put GT to set the target. GT opener Sai Sudharsan and S Gill had 78 run partnership when Gill was caught by Naman of the bowling of H Pandya. J Buttler came at the crease and added 51 runs to take the score to 129 in 14th over. Rutherford added 18 of 11 balls. GT lost 3 wickets in 3 balls to 179 for 6 by 18th over. GT did manage 196 with loss of 8 wickets in thier allotted 20 over. Sai sudharsan scored 63 runs from 41 balls. H Pandya collected 2 wickets.

Mumbai Indian had a target infont and Rohit Sharma failed once again and send back to pavilion in the first over. T Verma and S K Yadav added 62 runs for third wicket and when T Verma was caugth by Tewatiya of the bowling of Prasidh Krishna. At 97 for 3 Mumbai Indians could score only 63 runs in the 9 over and finished inning at 160. P Krishna and Siraj picked up 2 wickets each . Finally MI lost the second consecutive match by 36 runs.
Prasidh Krishna picked up 2 crucial wicket by giving just 18 runs to adjudged as Player of the Match.
